Wrong ex-Red Bull driver.

Not that JEV wouldn't deserve it, but Ferrari would have one of two others in mind should all of RB's current drivers end up out of a drive.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I forgot they don't go for the cheapest way

Max would be a good choice for them

Not if that's any better. We might even be forced to watch 4 car teams as I don't think Sauber and force India are in a state that is sustainable. They don't go to the EU for shits and gigles. The deal with Aston Martin might be crucial for FI.

Maybe quote is out of contact or he's too much in love with himself. My German is not that good.

Yes, it does sound like he is falling victim to his own ego :(

Quote:
Lewis Hamilton says Mercedes have "felt the need to be extra warm" to team-mate Nico Rosberg since the Briton won his third World Championship.

Hamilton secured the title in Austin on 25 October but Rosberg accused him of being "very aggressive" in that race.

Rosberg won in Mexico on Sunday with Hamilton a frustrated second after a dispute over team strategy.

Asked if the team had orchestrated the result, Hamilton said: "I never think those kind of things."

He added: "But I know the team has felt the need to be extra warm [to Rosberg]."

Pushed to elaborate, the 30-year-old said: "I do know what I mean but I'm not going to say what I mean. You should ask Toto Wolff [Mercedes team boss] and Niki Lauda [Mercedes non-executive chairman].

"You should put those questions to them about how they feel about it, and what they have to do behind the scenes to keep him happy."

Given that he has mastered driving, he might want to work on playing mind games without sounding like a douche. Even Alonso can manage that!

I think if he had actual confidence he wouldn't need to resort to these stupid remarks. He knows damn well that Rosberg wouldn't have pitted. All articles on it conveniently ignore that fact. I guess even a 3-time world champion feels insecure....

And this is nothing new. Let's stop pretending this personality trait is exclusive to Lewis. Fernando has done this time and time again, Prost was the same, as was Senna, even Schumacher had to resort to some silly tactics to make himself feel secure.

This is of course true. I'm not saying he's wrong or unique for doing it - he just doesn't seem to be very good at subtlety.

Who does have subtlety and who cares though? I'd rather these drivers say some silly things at times. We need to stop expecting perfection from our sports stars and heroes (me included with my feelings towards Alonso). They're only humans after all.
