The FIA WEC and IMSA's WeatherTech Sportscar Championship meet in Texas for the final running of the "Lone Star Le Mans" super weekend, which sees both series running their feature races on Saturday, September 17th.

IMSA will kick off the days festivities with a 2hr 40min race starting at 11:35a local time, with the FIA WEC running their 6-hour romp through the Texas countryside well into the night, with their race finishing at 11p local.

Additional Supports to be provided by IMSA's Continental Tire Sports Car Series, Porsche GT3 Cup, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

IMSA has the right idea when it comes to "track limits" here. No outer limits, just inner limits at the apexes, like a downhill ski race.

Meh, the whole "track limits" thing doesn't bother me.

If it's paved, use it. If you start worrying too much about that shit as a "fan," it makes everything less fun.

As much as I dislike the track limits debacle, the shitty track design/construction enabled the situation to arise so I don't really care about them taking advantage of it.

8am Sunday it starts here, perfect! Then off to Spa that afternoon for elms, gonna be a goooood day (as long as the #1 wins).
