Race over, vettel off again

How he's not being penalised for not going around that bollard at the final chicane like everyone else has to is a mystery....

Safe strategy and solid tire management by Lewis today is going to bring them this win. Shame we couldn't get a fun battle for the lead.

In practice sky told us at length that if someone straightlined the chicane, they had to go to the left of the marker board at the end of the runoff otherwise they'll face a penalty.
It was mentioned in the driver briefing too.

Vettel didn't do that, yet nothing

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just sky being wrong however, that's probably more likely :p

Hasn't he done just that every time though? He did it the first two times at least.

He didn't on one of them, hence sky making a big deal of it.

Meh, I've brought this up now realise I couldn't care less about shitty tarmac runoff policing :p

There's a raised orange strip just infront of the painted green tarmac & if you hit that you don't have to go around the marker board.
