Goddamn, remember when we had DEGA threads that were like 80+ pages and like 15 of them were before the first car on track?

Someone will flip and we will have 10 sites of "WTF" "FLIP" "ROLLZZZ" posts, don't worry

Race threads were bigger back then because everyone was younger and less occupied with real world problems.

Plus today, everyone knows what everyone else is gonna say.

codename will make a shitty joke

five people will carry on making ARCA brakes comments

Joey will have to step in and tell a couple warring members to pipe down

Phil R. will show up 4 times a year

Gaara will laugh at every driver/crew's misstep as if racing is some simple, quotidian endeavor

I'll be a dick (on purpose and on accident)

cArmAkAze will troll whiners

Underdogfan will perpetually swear off the sport and present evidence for Kyle Busch as the antichrist

That's never been explained before I don't think :?

Okey, when you will tell me why British people is riding on the left side :D

I dunno, moving to the left of approaching carriages so we could doff our caps with our right hand or something.

That is NOT TRUE

I will try post exclusively about the front end of newman's car as many members wrestle me to the ground as I'm typing it begging me not to hit submit on another goddamn shitty torn up front end of newman's car post.

Get it right

Also, last weeks were better following up to Dega than previous years, iirc.
Last Gen6 races here haven't been all that great.
There's a ton of other race series happening on that were somewhat entertaing last days.
Heck, I didn't even knew we were so close to Dega this time.

I'm also busy as hell this time.
Old TBK had more spammers that were banned in that big TBK mess week.
We have seen almost all of what Dega can provide, so it's more of the same instead of fresh racing.

Well... I was thinking that you will say something more like "BECAUSE WE CAN" and that should be my answer for your question: Start/Finish line is in other place, BECAUSE THEY CAN :D And if you ask where exactly it is, my answer is: other than in other normal nascar tracks.

What was your first Dega race you've ever watched? Mine's was the 2005 Aarons 312, can't get much better than that.

I watched highlights of the 2010 Aarons 499. I was laughing at the time because I had never seen Dega before.

However, the best Dega race of all time, without any doubt is the 2002 Aarons 312

The first DEGA I saw highlights from was the spring race on 2003 when Dale Jr passed beneath the yellow line for the win. First full was this. Don't remember shit except the FLIPPERZ and the SHIT

First full race was the 2002 Busch race, though I think it was a week delayed because Motors TV were only live from 2003 IIRC

This may have slightly skewed what I expect from a DEGA race....

In 2003 Motors went live and I was pretty gutted there were zero flips, despite the huge pile up that year too.

Yeah, pretty sure the steward who made that call was fired and now works in Indycar race control. :whistling:

The Busch race at the 500 that year was my first too, I stumbled across it on Fox Sports Middle East on 43W, they showed every Busch race live that year. Cup races weren't shown at all, although we caught the 500 on a duff NTSC feed from an NBC transponder on 16W.

The first Dega race I saw was the 1993 Winston 500. That was the 2nd race of the year I saw after the 500. I instantly became a Rusty fan because of that style. 8)
