Not sure how much I am looking forward to the Cup race with this rules package (tapered spacer). Last year's race was pretty decent from what I remember at the end though. I think the ARCA race will be good with it being Salem. I might get the PPV as it's extremely affordable ($10) compared to other races normally PPV'ed online

also here is the entry lists for this weekend.
Sprint Cup Series @ Chicago - 46 cars currently entered
Xfinity Series @ Chicago - 41 cars currently entered
Camping World Truck Series @ Chicago - 36 trucks entered
ARCA @ Salem - 31 cars currently entered

NASCAR really blew it by not having the low df 1.5 mile package run in the Chase, with most of the tracks being 1.5 milers.

I remember going to the truck race here about four years ago.

It was the worst fucking experience of my life. Nothing happened during the whole fucking race. I don't even remember there being a green flag pass for the lead. There were pit stops and I think it was autism cycling into the lead and winning by a huge margin. Fuck this track, bring back shitty Cicero.

Well that's not very promising...Must have been bad, I don't even remember them racing there. I'm more in it to see how my man Ross Chastain does in the Shigeaki Hattori truck. He's one of the best drivers in NASCAR without a big time ride...discuss.

This track isn't the worst on the schedule, but it has no need to be in the Chase.

The only thing I can remember happening here is Marty Reid thinking Trevor Bayne was gonna win a fuel mileage race and it was a lapped car

When I think of this track I think of 2 things: the giant orange and that one race that had that amazing sunset.

Forgot about that time when Kyle Busch had a truck race won there at 15 years old and ran out of gas.

NASCAR's most exciting moment in Chicago: an inflatable advertisement got loose.

The ever growing Chase coverage and media hype makes me want to do all things wrong and crazy.

Cup qual cancelled. It's a mess around here. Don't think the trucks are going to run tonight either.
