Why punish the driver?? How on earth does that make sense?

Has anyone seen a full grid yet, with penalties applied?

Because everything the team does is to benefit the driver ultimately, so a penalty simply cannot exclude the driver. Otherwise, teams would start cheating rampantly if you only penalized the teams instead of the drivers, who actually benefited from the team's actions.

That i understand. But it seems penalties are handed out on a whim. Changing an engine twice is suddenly just fine which has more of an impact then a loose engine civer in qualify. It used to be a black flag or dq from qualifying. Just because he didn't set a time does it mean the punishment should changen.

Unless someone had hit that debris. It was dangerous of them to have sent him out like that, they've been let off lightly unless there's a huge fine on the way.

Dear Formula 1,

Have you seen the GP2 and GP3 races here this weekend?

Do you see how they are all much more equally pegged? Do you see how they can follow each other through corners much easier, at least without falling off the track completely and losing twenty car-lengths? Do you see how, even with DRS, the GP2 cars are still only just making the passes in the braking zone into the corner rather than halfway down the straight without having to even contemplate a late-braking dive-bomb move into the corner? Do you see how cars are able to pass each other multiple times - alternating places on the track - rather than being passed once and disappearing into the distance?

I know that the GP2 and GP3 races this year haven't been consistently brilliant, but I've so often found myself enjoying more the two support races than I have the main event. Except maybe Hungary, as an obvious exception.

I know purists will go troll-faced at this post and want F1 to remain the pinnacle of the sport with the money being spent and the technology available to the teams with the highest budgets because it motivates lower down teams to be innovative and all that malarky, but I'm speaking here as an honest, fairly brainless and moral-free F1 fan who simply wants to see something exciting, something that isn't FUBARed by stupid grid-place drops and inconsistently applied penalties.

Please make F1 more like GP3 and GP2. Please.

Kind regards,

A. Moron.

I think if you put the whole field of gp2 drivers in f1 seats, the race would be just as entertaining. The only one who seems to have a set of brains is Stoffel. The rest goes from brain fade to brain fade.

But he has found a great balance in life, the balance between being a giant douche and a massive twat.

Surely there is no bigger turn off than that truck for parading the drivers

He is very touchy about the fact he is going bald, and the peroxide won't be helping. I bet it looks like a Swiss cheese up there.

Not that it's an excuse for leaving the cap on, though.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
