So the thing we've been wanting for years finally arrives (rain halfway through the race, but not enough to bring out a SC) and nothing happens

I enjoyed the laps on slicks when it started drizzling, that's always fun.

would have been better with gravel traps though

:(

Nope, Silverstone is slap bang in the middle of two rain belts passing over the Country and they are both going to miss the track, Bernie obviously has his portable HAARP on the go at the track.

My expert weather predicting skills will be available for the Hungarian Grand Prix too if desired.

That rain in Hungary and it would have been way more exciting knowing how well rain works for that race. Watch it be bone dry then.

Rosberg would have easily won if there would be 2 pit crews per team. It's so close between Rosberg & Hamilton, that the pit order simply produces the race result with equal cars. Hamilton got just lucky....Williams apparently not wanting to lead a race after the first pit stops and then getting lucky with a pit stop & rain when Rosberg catched Hamilton 10 seconds in total....

I don't check these F1 threads anymore, but just want to drop in: that was a great race IMO. Kept me entertained all the way through.

Only in England you get rain that turns a Mercedes/Williams/Williams podium into the usual Mercedes/Mercedes/Vettel.
What a shit show.

Yeah, although it was the same old result, it was quite a good race.

I saw a few photos of Kimi spinning off on the start/finish straight. Did they ever show that on the coverage?

If...if...if...if, Hamilton 3º, Rosberg 4º, who is in front stop first, this is the deal, lucky is another thing. 2 pit crews?!?! At the same time?!?! When? Where? it never occurred, Crazy thought! No chance for Rosberg this year.
