All rain delay, all they kept talking about was big wrecks, what the wives feel, what dale jr felt coming back after his daddy died. What more fitting of an ending than Jr winning and the 3 car going through the catch fence? You seriously can't write this any better.

No he finished top 10 racing across the line. As soon as he took a sigh of relief that the race was over he was stopping in the fence.

That IS the worst wreck NASCAR has ever had. Including all fatal wrecks. Glad Austins Ok, that was just violent abrupt stop!

Geoff Bodine's 2000 Daytona wreck was worse than this one, but this was as close as I hope we ever get to that.

There were some wrecks from the early days of NASCAR that were far worse, but as far as the modern era, the two above top the list.

Also, I've always wondered if a catch fence could take a full impact from a stock car full tilt. Thankfully, the answer to that question was better than I had expected.

If they learn anything from this, it's the need to double down on fencing in that section where the grandstands are just in case, dunno who said it but one of the drivers mentioned it was a good job there wasn't another flying car, since there was no fence left to stop it if there had of been.

There is no way an actual person would make this post and actually believe it. It was just an ironic post, right?

Pretty sure that was Clint Bowyer that went sliding between Harvick and Gordon and was the first one to test the new Kyle Busch wall too.

It is bad, but yeah, the Geoff Bodine wreck in 2000 is even worse. I could argue that the Kyle Larson one's worse than this.
