in the news for this weekend: aeropush, a Cup driver in the ARCA race again, only 28 trucks at Texas, and Jeffrey Earnhardt racing in the Euro Series race at Brands Hatch.

At least the modified tour has healthy numbers. We'll always have that to fall back on.

The Cup races at Pocono have definitely been better the last few years since they've gone to 400 miles. I'll tune in.

I am just glad that the series is still getting a good car count after those rumors of the last few years of teams pulling out to run more local races or a different series such as VMRS or ROC. Some did for a little bit in the last few years (the Boehler #3 last season, the #36 that was ran by Ted Christopher for several years shut down completely too, I know I am forgetting a few as well)

Not a big fan of the racing here after the repave. But it's nice how smoth that track is. And the race finishes, or the last quarter of the race, were really nice ever since Jeff Gordon got back to winning again.
