Clearly, TCR drivers don't do chicanes.

Top 11 cars finished in 4 seconds. From one side..wow, but from second, there was only one big train with no passing

TCR will be a new class in IMSA's CTSCC starting in 2018, slotting between ST and GS, with I assume a phase out of ST in the future.
LAP Motorsports - the team who runs the MINI JCW's in ST, posted these on their Twitter acct the other days....looks like it's gonna be a MINI TCR car developed by them, based on the 4 door bodyshell and how far the wheels and tires stick out.

The sharp turn 1 is rubbish and doesn't add anything to the track. The original (motorcycle) layout is better, IMO

Cool to see the Mini, have to wonder what other manufacturers will develop a TCR car now with it being in IMSA. Not a huge fan of FWD racing but I really hope it's successful here in the States with a good car count.

Audi has a TCR car in Australia now

In addition to that, now that Super Taikyu has a TCR class, I'd like to see more Japanese manufacturers get involved.
