I`m sorry, but there was almost no overtakes being made before 2011 for some years, I don`t agree with you. But say whatever you want, I`m done with this, already said all I could to convince me, you wont convince me otherwise, I`ve been seeing racing this past years and I`m sure this influenced things, even in Brazilian categories, this shit stared after the mentioned events.

Whatever....

What`s the wheater prediction for this weekend?

And any news about the reliability of the teams? Any changes from Australia? And not only the reliability, what about performance?

Schumacher always used to do that every single race when somebody made a better start than him.

Or the kind of move he pulled on Alonso down the Hangar Straight.

Even though I never liked Schumacher, I don't think I was being biased when I used to criticise those moves all the time. Just an easy dirty way of keeping your place. People like Montoya had the balls to keep their nose in, and still ended up coming off worse. :(

That being said, there wasn't much wrong with the move on DC. Or was it because he'd made a few similar moves the laps before?

that kind of defensive driving was established long before 2011. It is not a recent thing. The driving standard in GP2 has been crap since it began.

It wasn't that one move. It was a collection of moves and Schumachers constant ability to drive like a complete cock. That particular move, it looks like DC is complaining about nothing. But Schumacher was so bad that his driving was raised as an actual issue by others, most notably his start line antics. I don't think DC is unjustified in his motions given the history of Schumachers driving.

Just because he was less of a dick later (although he stilled tried to run Barrichello into the pit wall) and he's now in hospital, doesn't change he had drivers complain about him. He still is listed as the only man ever to be thrown out of the championship for purposely hitting other cars.

I don't think there was much wrong with what Schumi did in that instance in France, but I agree with the history. I was a big Schumi fan for a long time but got tired of the shoddy driving, defending and tactics that went unpunished for a long time.

But back to the original point, it was Senna and Schumacher that created the poor tactics and defensive driving that we see today. If the authorities ever had the balls to deal with the actions at the time it is very likely we'd see a different style of driving up and down the motorsport ladder today. End of discussion.

What DC complained about with that incident is for 3 laps in a row, Schumacher turned into the apex, then turned out again. Watch his car and he changes the line he was taking to run wider. He drove unpredictably, which was the problem. He basically put DC in a position where he had to take avoiding action or be ran into. Whilst it was not as severe or obvious as a lot of actions, it is most certainly there. Not a big incident, but remembered due to DC finally losing his rag with Schumacher.

As for the racing, what happened at Spa was way worse.

and because of that Barrichello still believes that his Hungaroring pass was the greatest overtaking in the history (and in every race he keeps saying that in the broadcast)

This is something I discussed with a few journalists last year. A hell of a lot of the young drivers now idolise either Senna or Schumacher and they're channeling those guys through their driving style, when they don't have the talent to back it up.

Agreed. Same is happening in touring cars thanks to the likes of Neal, Plato, Tarquini and Muller.

Whilst Senna made some mistakes, you often felt that he gave just about enough space for another car. I mean, this is aggressive, but he generally leaves Prost just enough of a gap each time.

Whereas Schumacher would have flat out shoved the attacking car onto the grass, or made them brake to avoid that happening. Both drivers were overly aggressive, but I feel that Schumacher's tactics were often worse.

How did we get from Malaysia to this? It's like 2002 all over :p

Any news on what livery McLaren will run this weekend? That Mobil 1 livery was set to be just a one race hit, celebrating 20 years of their partnership.

There is a silver Esso logo where the Mobil 1 was in Australia.

They also have a new slightly droopy nose.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Thanks guys! I wonder how long it will take for McLaren to announce their title sponsor for 2014!

I remember that they were in GPW as a potential new supplier.
