Nice to see an elderly fan of Beckham's being interviewed about F1.

Whoever was ahead at the last pit exit line has priority I believe so I guess they're looking at that.

I could / should on a rant about Alonso here, but most know my feelings towards his attitude. This comment of his is unsurprising considering what we already know about him.

But I suppose it is very different inside the car then what we're seeing on screen.

It is the responsibility of the person leaving the pitlane exit to merge onto the circuit in a safe manner.

Good old contradictory FIA rules.

Perhaps. But then again Alonso exited directly onto the racing line / into Vergne's trajectory. Alonso at fault as he should have lifted once off the track.

Not if they're ahead by the time they exit the pits.

In which case Verge left enough room. This will become more a Vettel and Alonso at Monza 2011 versus 2012 conversation.

Vettel/Rocky radio post race on pits channel:

Rocky - "Sebastian, you do need to bring the car back, OK? Bring the car back into the pit lane, please. Sorry to be on your case, but to be clear you do need to bring it home. OK, in the garage"

Vettel - "Let me quote. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, guys, I know what I'm doing"

Rocky - "I've got evidence to the contrary"

For me, it's a pass outside the track limit.

Thanks, I stand corrected on what I said before then. Vergne didn't leave enough room. But then again he was ahead as Alonso exited the pits so the Ferrari should have yielded.

If that was a normal racing situation, JEV would have to have given him a car's width. But cars coming out of the pitlane have to defer to drivers on the racing line.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It was the best action of the race. So, please no penalty.

In this cases. Charlie have to immediately say if the pass was legal or not. Not to give a 20s penalty at the end of the race.

Massa's overtake on Hamilton was the best action of the race.
