So if you have a racing incident and go off, you are penalized both for collision and going beyond track limits.

He was off the track, unfortunately that's the rule. BS like the tarmac runoffs.

It didn't even look like he was off the track.

This has become a joke.

What's Romain supposed to do? Turn more sharply so that he hits Massa and gets a penalty for that instead? It was a great move. If you don't want people doing that, STOP PUTTING TARMAC EVERYWHERE!

The Button move was stupid, but that doesn't appear to be what the penalty was for. *sigh* Is it any wonder my interest in F1 is declining over recent years. Stupid penalties. Butchering circuits. Free pass DRS. What bull.

Kerb doesn't count as within track limits.

If they want to keep them on track, go back to massive kerbs and gravel traps, 1990 style

My worst fears are confirmed......Ricciardo is the new Jarno Trulli.

At least is what is being said on TV here. According to Lotus, the penalty for Romain was indeed for cutting the chicane after passing Button.

Indeed wouldn't have happened with the freaking gravel traps.

He was off track sure, but Massa didn't give him much room to do otherwise.

What annoys me is that he didn't get a penalty for the more obvious brain failure he had. Meh.

I'd rather he puts his wheel off track when he has no room than try to shove his way past like he did with button.

Grosjean was penalized because he didn't crash, and spectators are disappointed.

Looks like Raikkonen & Webber will only do 2 stops.

You know if there had still been grass and gravel there and still made it stick then that would have been an infinitely better move. Stop making the tracks easy.

Hope Webber ignores team orders and keeps second place.

Even Tilke tracks would be challenging with gravel traps and/or bigger kerbs

Webber medium? 3 stops I guess.

Red Bull did it again to get their little prince past him. Was no need to pit he had 12 seconds to Vettel.

Can I just ask what the alternative was for Grosjean? Did they not take into account there was a big red car next to him? How dare he not turn in and risk his rear wheel climbing over Massa.
