Awesome, that is just great. That is perfect for those of us who have no access to that and simply watch the host broadcast.

At least it is a solution.
I don't really know what the problem is to be honest. If it is a bigger incident that caused a yellow flag you will see it. Either the TV director cuts to it or provides a replay later on (and don't bring up the Monaco TV director as an example for it).
There is no need to cut away from a battle for instance just to show us a yellow flag for a tiny part of debris or someone going wide.

I didn't ask for that, just an identifier. Having the yellow flag symbol but not identifying where is why is as good as having no yellow flag symbol.
They should bring up the track map graphic showing the yellow flag zone, As they used to do on F1 Digital+ from memory.

Still less damage than what Whitmarsh is doing to the team.

Welp, Gary Anderson certainly thinks the Kerbs, not Pirelli are to blame:

NOPE.

I watched on Sky and I started the whole thing.

Case in point: after the race the BBC sent Gary Anderson over to turn 4 to inspect the kerbs and do a little feature there.

Sky decided to talk to Geri Halliwell "Damon....you used to race didn't you?"

Also BBC got hold of angry Hamilton first, Sky got him afterwards when he was calm rational Hamilton.

I don't usually do the broadcaster compare thing because I watch both (Sky at the pub and BBC when I get home) but today the BBC seemed more calm about the situation, Sky seemed desperate to milk it in order to create their own headlines, as they tend to do sometimes.

today was clear in brazilian broadcast that Barrichello can't handle grid walk. He wanders around just fooling and asking people to "say hello to Brazil"

he should get a journalism degree before taking a job like that

Not sure you realise what I was responding to, which wasn't anything to do about graphics or TV footage. Rather it was about the this...

When was the last time McLaren had 2 non-scores in a row?

The answer isn't that exciting, as they had a 4-race streak in early 2009. Which sadly meant I couldn't use my-2007 obtuse card.

Aw.

Something which is intriguing is that is McLaren finish 6th in the WCC as they are on course to do, it would be the first WCC finish outside the top 5 since 1981*.

*Notwithstanding Ryan's 2007 card

STR are also only 13 points back, and that car is improving rapidly.

The 2007 situation can throw some interesting anomalies. Like when people try and convince you that Sauber was the 2nd best in 2007 based merely on it's Constructors position.

They had a 9-race podiumless streak in 2004 and a 11-race podiumless streak in 1995, though they went 2 seasons without one around 1980. Based on this pattern expect the 2022 McLaren to be a stinker early doors.

Newey lays the blame at Ferrari, Lotus and Force India.

Well, he's saying it's their fault they didn't get to change tyres, rather than these explosions. But guess what..he's right. Everyone moaned about how RBR and Mercedes wanted to change the tyres. Vettel himself highlighted the safety issues a lot. Now we're looking at failures, everyone is wanting changes, despite heavily criticising those who wanted them earlier.

I do love the irony of Ferrari suffering whilst not wanting the tyres changed.

Massa hasn't ruled out a boycott, while Horner thinks a return to 2012 tyres would fix the issue

But how come last year there were like no tyre failures at all, and the Pirellis were also not made with the kevlar belt?

And besides, who knows this 'Kevlar' belts might cause other problems we do not know yet. Especially the fact there is no testing allowed. Or is it?
