Who would have thought out of all of the multi car teams in Nascar that the team that finished 1-2 today wasn't Hendrick, Roush, Gibbs, Penske, MWR, RCR or Earnhardt-Ganassi but Front Row Motorsports? Unbelievable. I can't imagine how much something like this means to a team that doesn't have the big sponsor on their car every week. It's Talladega, where longshots can and sometimes do have their day in the sun.

You know, for a guy with a Mechanical Engineering degree from one of the best schools in the Country, Ryan Newman is an idiot. Caught his interview on Victory Lane. Damn fool. Seen cars flipped just like that at 90mph on a half mile.

Ryan Newman also thinks the six manned moon landings were faked. According to the documentary he watched.

Glad to see David Ragan and Front Row Barn Animal Motorsports win, never see any of the smaller teams win anymore.
Is that the Bob Jenkins that used to do commentary own that team?

Nope, different guy. I thought he was the same person too at first.

Wow, what an amazing result. I thought that all my favourites had been taken out in earlier wrecks, but then those 2 came from nowhere. Awesome.

Holy shit, I've been thinking it was 'the' Bob Jenkins all this time too.

What a badass win for Ragan. I had to tuck in as it was looking like a two-three hour delay and missed it. :(

Premier TV stuck with it til the very end ( @ live hockey).

Glad I recorded it and watched the finish this morning.

Insane wreck within the last 10 laps, not sure what Newman's massive issue was, is that not just part of DEGA racing? As someone has said before, that kind of flip has happened at much lower speeds before...in fact you can see it happen at about 30mph on some Russian dashcam videos.

He's just a bit pissed to constantly be involved in large superspeedway wrecks.

Loving the result...always support the lesser funded underdogs. :flag:

Just saw some of the interviews. Newman has obviously had plenty of bad experiences at these tracks, but I don't think his moaning was justified this time. Danica blaming someone else, whilst the video plays and shows her clearly driving into Labonte. Can we get Johanna Long in that car instead?

I heard that too. "Someone hooked me in the rear and put me in the wall." OR you swerved up into Terry, who was there the whole time....

Watching Danica's onboard, it seems there were so much sparks and flames that you would think the crash was much more up the racetrack than it actually is. It explains her overreaction, though I agree she's wrong in the interview.
What's so hard about saying you panicked and screwed up? There's a car flipping on top of another, it's legitimate to look for extra room. Just admit it, apologize to your fellow driver on the outside and move on. I hate it when drivers do this.

The Bob Jenkins that did TV has been asked if it was his team, and he said a NASCAR team would be one of the last things he'd ever spend his money on if he had enough to operate a team.

Sounds like Ryan Newman has had his bell rung a few too many times.... :o

So how long until the inevitable press conference announcing lights at Dega happens?
