Lotus/Kimi are fast as well as like Andrex for tyres so they're looking good again ... but we all thought Vettel was going to skip gaily to victory in Melbourne, plus the start time makes this race susceptible to chuva ...

The amount of rubber flying off was just phenomenal.

Also, it's not just that Bianchi was impressive, but only 2.9s down on Raikkonen. I don't ever recall Marussia being that close on such a long circuit.

Watching the tyres through the sweepers was pretty amazing. This is going to be fun tyre wise for sure. FI quicker than Mclaren as well, who would have thought...

Bianchi already fast than Bottas, this is awesome, Bianchi time is 1.2 faster than the first Caterham and 1.9 faster than his teammate, it's impressive. Nobody could predict that before the season starts and Bianchi almost didn't tested during the pre-season tests, it's impressive!

Yeah I thought getting into the Marussia would be the end of his career. But it looks like it might boost his chances. He is just killing his direct opponents.

Giedo van de Garde is driving with a Special helmet that will be up for action after the race. he should be driving with that helmet all season.

Reminds me of that monstrocity Eddie Irvine used 10 years or so back. This one is nicer though.
