Vettel will pole by 1/2 second, breeze to the first corner, lead every lap, win by 30 sec+

I think it's better to have India rather than Bahrian or whatever as a race host, because it's a populous country, and certainly has more F1 fans than Bahrain.

At Suzuka we had some incident filled sessions worth watching. Here we're shown replays if somebody runs a little wide into the run off, because it's about the only thing that actually happens. My comments about the new circuits are probably very repetitive, but I need somewhere to voice my displeasure. :p I didn't watch any of Korea, with the exception of some of the race. I can't be bothered to watch the practice sessions today, even though I have the day off work. We're having what's described as one of the best ever seasons of F1, yet my interest seems to be at an all time low. Anyone else feel the same, or am I just getting old and longing to see the F1 that I grew up watching?

The teams have got a handle on the Pirellis so there's none of that special stuff from the start of the season now

Also McLaren are running R&D parts on Lewis' car but they won't tell him what they are

you are not alone, believe me. I can perfectly relate to your situation and feel the same. Even the return of my favourite driver fails to excite me.
I think it's a mix honestly: getting older and understanding that there is more to the world than 24 drivers going around a track a few times in a year + obviously F1 has transformed into something that makes you wonder if we are on the right track. Watching the 2001 review a few days ago makes me miss that time where power, rather than downforce dictated the pace.

When I was younger, I remember not being able to sleep before the Australian GP. Now it's a burden to get up that early in the morning.

I believe I entered into a less passionate phase going into 2008. I always wanted Raikkonen to win the title, and waited for 6 years. Then it was finally achieved, and it seemed like that meant I lost a big chunk of my passion.

I don't know why, but for a moment I hoped they didn't change a lot on the circuit. Ofcourse I should have know better. I liked all the quick chicanes with the grass on the inside, now replaced by asphalt, shame. Still one of the better circuits of the Tilke era though.

I'm pretty certain it's maturity. I feel the same way, unfortunately.

TBK light, full of old farts moaning things were better back in the day... lol me included. Most motor sport doesn't good the attention as much these days. Maybe it's once you're older than most of those taking part you feel less involved? When you were young you might have wanted to grow up and be a racing driver... Now they're all just precocious kids, not heroes for us perhaps?

Well I´m already older than some of the racing drivers, that sucks.

Anyway, looking at FP2 RBR will win by a mile.

I had a similar feeling when Vettel had his debut in 2007. He´s only 9 months older than me and while he scored his first point in USA, I was doing the dishes for a living in my weekends.

Something went wrong. :beard:

I'm just getting a bit tired of this season. I think 20 races might be too many. Or it'd be better if the races were more spread out.
