Has it been a month since Thruxton already?

Great to have BTCC back.

ITV4 buggers off to show Tennis before the last race, carries on showing it on stream but, for those without ITV5, will show the final race and supports they missed at 8pm

Yep, that's right, during the Grand Prix.

Gentlemen, start your bitching.... :p

Why are people surprised? This is afterall the station that went for an ad break just 3 laps before the end of a nail biting climax to the 2005 San Marino GP.

The girlfriend has been very patient with me, sitting through the F1 this season and learning all about it. Do you think it's time to introduce her to a whole day of BTCC coverage? :p

Mine watched Monaco without me even in the building! She's warming to the BBC presenters more than the racing (LOVED the Hamilton/Button presenting feature)..

So...if personalities are her thing, time to tell her about Plato?

(TBF, she kinda already knows, no way I can keep that kinda rage bottled up! :p )

Well, no Rob Austin, but...

Quote:
Will Bratt to race for Rob Austin Racing at Oulton Park

24-year-old Will Bratt will be the only representative for Rob Austin Racing this weekend at Oulton Park in the team's second Audi A4, with Team Principal/Driver Rob Austin sitting out the weekend due to damage sustained at Thruxton.
Bratt, who has raced for the last two years in the FIA Formula Two Championship and was the 2009 Euroseries 3000 champion, will take over the team's second car this weekend, which hasn't raced since the 2011 season finale at Silverstone when it was driven by Chris Swanwick.

"Rob Austin will sit out this round due to damage sustained at Thruxton and a lack of parts," said the team's statement.

The team also stated they believe than engine issues which have plagued them in the past two rounds have been resolved, and they "Expect Will (Bratt) to display the true pace of the Audi which has not yet been seen this season."

The team's statement also said that "Whilst we are sad not to have Rob out as well, he is still searching for sponsorship and we expect to have a pair of Audis out at Croft."

Well, that's good. He's not a bad driver although I haven't seen him race since he was in Formula Renault. Another Oxfordshire driver to cheer on, too.

Looking forward to BTCC at Oulton, although boost increase for others and not Hondas will make it difficult for the 4 civics.

Whaaaat? They just trying to hand this to Plato?

I'm sure there's a logic but it honestly doesn't make much sense to us, the mere fans on the outside....
