The atmosphere in their boxes after the DNF is brilliant.

They know now that they have the potential, they knew they weren't going to have the reliability needed but they gave their all.

Just seen the top gear delta wing. Can't get near it due to Nissan security.

Broken back! I must have missed that catching up on what the situation was!

I am no expert, but surely the sensation of 'OW MY FUCKING BACK' would overwhelm any adrenalin rush?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I would guess it depends on the severity of the injury. Plus, don't under-estimate the power of adrenaline. That's millions of years of evolution to ensure a system works really, really fucking well.

Was in a ATV crash when I was 9, I launched like three meters into the air and broke my left arm on two locations. Thought I got away luckily, but I didn't start to feel the stinging pain a few hours later. AD's experience shouldn't be much different.
