Few new changes...

-The reverse grid system will be varied, meaning it wont be just the top 8 getting revered (a bit like BTCC) so drivers wont just be able to settle for 8th knowing they will get the pole in Race2 (see http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/72269" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

-New ballest system (see http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/72282" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
- New track in Marrakesh - map here http://www.touringcartimes.com/news/wtcc08112102.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Google earth here
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&g" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 3&t=h&z=16

March 8th - Brazil (Curitiba)
March 22nd - Mexico (Puebla)
May 3rd - Morocco (Marrakech)
May 17th - France (Pau)
May 31st - Spain (Valencia)
June 21st - Czech Republic (Brno)
July 5th - Portugal (Porto)
July 19th - Great Britain (Brands Hatch)
September 6th - Germany (Oschesleben)
September 20th - Italy (Imola)
November 1st - Japan (Okayama)
November 22nd - Macau (Guia Circuit)

Long straights and tight chicanes, are always intersting in tintops.

Any changes of race length or are they still going to be ridiculously short?

It has something to do with the Monza round being cancelled and Imola getting Monzas date, something like that

I thought WTCC wasn't going back to Macau after disagreements with the organisers? Did that all get sorted?

Length is fine.

Given the distance they travel to each round, it seems little silly to only have 2 25min races when they do get there.

The only thing is we dont know the drivers that they will be using. I think its likely Farfus and Jorg Muller and Zanardi will be driving again, but Andy isnt a certainity, and Felix seems likely to be replaced.

Depends what BMW decide to do with him, really. The rumour of him joining the BTCC is picking up some serious momentum at the minute. Add into that the M3 GT program then it isnt certian where Andy will be next year.

This has been going about for quite a while now, since the end of last season. Again it really depends on what BMW and RBM want to do. Now we know that Ford is unlikely to be the new manufacturer, it really leaves only Volvo, Honda and BMW.

The funny thing is the WTCC is even more of a world championship than F1 now, with F1 kicking Canada off and the WTCC adding an African race
