You know something, just stop the race there. Don't bother restarting it.

I'm not watching tv or even a stream.. just came on here to see how the crowd was being reported. Opened up racecontrol on lap 8(before the crash), saw 2680 people currently online there on RC then went for a piss. Came back, the crash had happened. Now under red, there are 3960 people online.

Maybe Bernard won't have to quit after all. Ratings will go up as news spreads.

Sorry to be a hater, I've stayed away almost all season, but jesus fucking christ, this type of thing was inevitable. Bernard deserves full blame.

Who was that very first car at the start of the wreck that vaulted someone? As horrendous as this is, it could have been way, way worse.

And damn, Power was nearly in the fencing as well.

Power's onboard. Just wow. He nearly got hit in the head with a tire.

Just saw the crash, thanks for the footage but it's sickening to watch. Also I don't have live coverage and I follow the news now through the forum. This looks/feels/sounds terrible. I really hope Dan Wheldon survives this.
