Watched a few clips of the Toiletbowl that popped up on my RacefeedX feed on Facebook but why would you call your event the "Toiletbowl"?? Yes I know my question is self-answering in that I'm posting about it here but still.. at some point you gotta prefer dignity over publicity, man..

South Boston Speedway had over 20 Late Model Stock Cars at their open practice this weekend. According to the track's press release they think they'll have about 30 cars for their opening day Twin 100s next Saturday. I'm planning on going, though I hope the forecast for Saturday improves this week since it's currently showing about a 50% chance of rain Saturday afternoon.

Hope they get a good car count, sounds like they are making alot of upgrades to the track over the next year.

I still feel like SDW is going to be at Oswego this year. Flat Track could be racing there either way, considering their track at CoTA is a few k-rails in a middle of a field basically.

damn that first LMSC race was good. I really need to go to SoBo sooner or later (not too far of a drive for me, I think only a half hour longer than going to Orange Co.)

Next Saturday. Late Models are back for another 100 laps, probably won't have quite as many cars next week but SoBo usually has strong counts early in the season since they start their season about a month earlier than the other tracks in this region.


The bad thing about yesterday is my video camera broke, something is wrong with the focus motor. I'm pretty sure it's going to cost about as much to ship it to Sony for repair was it would to buy a new camera. If that ends up being the case I'll probably just call it quits on the video deal.

Looks like there is a good chance that Concord will have to deal with some weather tomorrow during the NWSMT/PASS races. I really hope the weepers aren't bad tomorrow (or Sunday) like they normally are.
