I have both Sky and BBC, and I've watched every race live on Sky so far. I've tried with BBC a couple of times, and watched their highlights once or twice, but I just think Croft and Brundle (and Kravitz) are a lot better than Edwards and DC (and Anderson). Somehow the BBC team seems more amateurish. But real Jake is a lot better than fake Jake, I'll give you that.

Got no choice but to watch it on the beeb this weekend, visiting the parents, who don't have sky.

Damn BBC. Was just watching my recording of Qualifying from BBC HD, had set it to record 2 hours after normal session ending and still I didn't get to see it because they just stopped the broadcast and said "go to BBC2"

I HATE that, just stay on 1 channel ffs :x Just managed to see the final 3 minutes of Q3 on the red button, and ferrari's were in the top 10. what a cock up that red flag.

Luckily I'm home tomorrow for the insane channel hopping marathon of F1 on the BBC.

was the gridwalk by DC in Silverstone last Sunday the worst you have ever seen?

I actually felt 'pain' for him when watching it...

It was the worst I've seen. Sadly a DC grid walk is not as good as a Brundle grid walk.

Lee should do the gridwalks. Simple as that in my opinion. Her added value is too little at this time and a gridwalk would just be what she, and the coverage, needs. I know she always asks quite standard question pre-and post race, but then again the circumstances don't lend themselves to asking any other questions.

Doing the gridwalk would open up opportunities, and given she is quite an attractive female, she would get much more people to talk to her.

Lee McKenzie should be limited in her contribution on the BBC coverage. About the only time when her contribution is of a reasonable standard is during the prerecorded pieces.

She's better looking than David "I'm not really swallowing a brick" Coulthard though, that should make up for it.

In South Africa we get BBC Commentary for all free practice sessions, all qualifying sessions, and all races, live.

My only problem with it is Coulthard's biased commentary, although he does make me laugh by constantly mentioning drivers looking in their "murrrerrs".

Oh, and Eddie Jordan is a f%^&ing idiot.

We don't get these here. Does anyone post them online? Or do FOM shut things down too quickly? Bastards at FOM. :(

And then some

And then even fucking more

I cannot stand him. Nothing he has ever said since he became a presenter has ever made sense.

Dude, I actually cannot believe that he calls himself a pundit! WTF? I loved his absolute outrage that Hamilton was on the wrong tyre at the Q2 restart. Only for it to be proven to be the correct tyre. hahaha

I never used to like EJ but then over time started to, but then he says something ridiculous and spoils things.

The look he gave and reaction was a classic when Paul di Resta wrote on his face.

Then there are moments like this -

   The car and the man going past at the same time makes him think the car skimmed him

anyway, Eddie just says things to provoke. Learn to live with it. There are multiple times during the course of one broadcasting session that both Jake and DC must hold back their laugh about just how ridiculous Eddie is.

To me Eddie hit the all time low when he said Massa came away with " a knock on the chin "

oh, and btw, WTF was Eddie doing during DCs gridwalk last Sunday? You could see him jumping and running around like some fool who was accidently allowed onto the grid.

I hated Eddie at first, but now I like him. The way he says some things and makes a fool of himself (and DC and Jake make fun of him) is just

Her face is ok, but the rest is quite sizeable and nasty. I've never been a fan. Awful presenter, awful interviewer, just awful.
