Double-file restarts from safety car periods will now be utilised, while DRS usage has been simplified in line with unified durations for Saturday and Sunday races. Drivers will now be able to activate the system up to three times on 12 laps, for a total of 36 activations per race.

This is the series more than any other that makes the most baffling decisions sometimes.

No team radio? OK that sucks

Double file restarts? Sounds fun, I give it about 2 or 3 races before it gets canned for causing too many needless crashes though. (like V8 Supercars)

Or they'll stop using the safety car completely as a result

Weird race, good for the first 10 laps, then nothing happened around the pitstop phase

Then good again for the last 5 mins

Sport1 will show the sunday race of the Tourenwagen Classics (a series for former DTM/ITC and STW cars) at the Norisring live at 10 am. 8)
