I'm expecting at least 2 out of Mardenborough, Reip and Ordonez to join Nissan as well.

In the meantime, Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber has been confirmed alongside Hülkenberg at Spa and Le Mans. That is surprising to me at least! All the talk of Mako (who have experience of high-power, high-downforce cars from Super GT) and Michael Christensen must've made this very disappointing for them. On the other hand, they're in for the WEC championship.

Ryan Briscoe will run Le Mans for Corvette, which is cool.

A pity not to see Mako in a LMP1. I guess this alters the GTE lineup as well. Tandy isn't going to race at Le Mans against Bill Auberlen, is he?

"This year the Automobile Club de l’Ouest has not awarded an automatic invitation for a place on the grid to a team proposing an innovative technological project in the context of the 56th garage, as it did not receive any entries corresponding to the aims and principles established by the ACO. However, entries for 2016 are now open."

Wow, didn't think Earl Bamber would get an LMP1 drive so soon!, single seaters were always his speciality so he should excel in the LMP1

Hmmm, the colours are the same but the proportions aren't quite exact.

Is the RTL there for the German broadcaster?

It's for the official LM24H radio: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTL_%28French_radio%29

Two more Nissan drivers: Ordonez & Mardenborough. Begs the question how much of a PR decision this was.

Why? They've been grooming Jann, and Ordonez has the most experience of the GTA guys, and is a very good driver in his own right. Cox has said he wants an American for 2016. Now THAT is a PR decision.

Pretty sure they dropped Mardenboroug in GP3 and LMP2 to get him prepared for this.

Michael Krumm has been confirmed as well

I'd rather they give the drives to works Nissan drivers than do what Porsche did, and ignore the scores of drivers who deserved a shot to go get some F1 drivers.

Questions can be raised on whether or not someone like Ordonez is good enough, but the fact is, he's a Nissan driver and he'll be driving a Nissan car. Maybe one or two drivers with recent LMP1 history would be advisable, but that's why Gene has a seat. And tbh, I'd rather have Mardenboroug and Krumm over Gene any day.
