Why does Jeremy Shaw say "coop" when he means "Coupe"

Is it an Americanisation thing? (That said, I'm sure I've heard Americans say Coupe too so...*shrug* )

It is an Americanism.

Also an Americansim - theres a battle for the lead so they go to a silly story video. Americans love to not watch the actual racing and go tell stories instead.

Yeah that's annoying.

I think it's due to inflexibility in their broadcast system. This way they can say "we're going to feature X at 1 Hour 15 into the race EXACTLY, no matter if there's a side by side race or a blowover just developing at the exact same time"

Probably so they can tell their sponsors exactly what time they'll be on and how long for, tbh.

For anyone that doesn't know, and does care or enjoys interesting racing facts - commentators are wrong. This isn't the longest layout of VIR. This is the third longest. Grand East and Grand West are longer. This is just International layout, with the infield.
