Great effort by Rebellion and the Patron Ferrari!

Marino Franchitti took 3rd on the last lap. We never seen it because they only showed 2 finishes before they had an allergic reaction to not having any advert breaks for 15 minutes, so had to go.

Conquest Racing #37 excluded from the results for exceeding maximum drive time.

Didn't see the race, but no mention of Deltawing finishing 5th? All I see is a lot of bitching about everything in this race...

Yeah, but the Deltawing can do no good, remember. The fact that it's driving on racetracks is the equivalent of a nuclear disaster.

The DW is fine for what it is. It might even make a good one make series. It's just full of PR lies and bullshit and proving a point that everybody knew 50 years ago.

As for it finishing 5th, it's unclassified so technically didn't. It was 5th across the line, but wasn't scored in the race so appears in official results as laps completed, rather than finishing position. I'm unsure how it should be scored. It was on track with them, but wasn't officially in the race.

Terrible track, Audi already has the championship, Toyota is a full second a lap faster, and its poor viewing hours for the majority of its fan base.

Watching the highlights clips so far. Audi is too slow and once again is having headlight issues.

Gap between the #2 Audi and the Toyota is a lap now. It's 30 seconds on the road, but there's a pit stop to go.

LMP1 privateers is being led by Rebellion. They have a full lap to JRM

LMP2 is being led by ADR-Delta. About 40 seconds to Starworks, but an extra pit stop to be made.

GTR Pro is being led by Aston Martin. A lap over Felbermayr.

GTE Am is being led by Larbre, a lap over Felbermayr.

I've been watching the last hour, I somewhat suspect the race wasn't that exciting early on.

All six of Toyota’s drivers will be re-upped for 2013, with the Japanese manufacturer working towards a two-car full-season FIA WEC entry and three cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Due to their Super GT and F1 commitments, Kaz Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi are not expected to contest every round.

Expect Kamui Kobayashi if he doesn't get a F1 seat (sure hope he does).

After Jody Scheckter - F1 World Champion in 1979 - South Africa could again shine on the global automotive stage with the Bailey LM P2.

Completed in 2011 after two years of development, the Bailey will soon be available from the South African manufacturer which has previously specialized in the creation of replicas (Porsche 917, Ford GT40). The car will will take South Africa onto the global motor sport scene, and will face established American and European LM P2 teams (Morgan, Oreca, Lotus, HPD, Lola).

After a long stay in France and notable appearances at Le Mans (in the margins of the 24 Hours) and at Paris car show (Mondial de l'Automobile), the first chassis has returned to its country of origin where development should continue. It will soon be joined by a second prototype.

Although designed to be eligible in Europe, America and Asia for "Le Mans" entitled series (WEC, ELMS, ALMS, LMS Asian), it is in France that the machine seems to have found its first client: Sbarta Sport - whose arrival in endurance was abandoned in 2011. The team led by Sylvain Boulay (10 participations as a driver at the 24 Hours of Le Mans) is working to raise funds needed to run the car next year.
