Went to Spa on friday. Was the first time to the circuit and as it was still on my wish list, my girlfriend bought us bronze tickets as birthday present. I've seen a lot of tracks, but nothing beats the scenery at Spa and Eau rouge is so awesome! When we were standing at the F1 village when FP2 started, we watched the cars go uphill through Eau rouge, it gave me goosebumps! Overall, on tv, Spa looks a lot less impressive than in real life.

We had some doubts, first we wanted to watch FP2 from the village as well but finally we decided to watch it on top at Raidillon. If you are interested: if you buy Bronze tickets for the weekend before 01-11-2013 you'll 'only' pay €106,-. That's very cheap for F1 standards.

does anybody knows the total attendance to the circuit?

It seemed quite packed for me, watching on tv. I wonder how much Spa makes with tickets selling and how much the Belgian or Wallonian, I don't know, government have to add to it?!

I went to Spa FR/SA for 30,- in total. Kinda cheap and damn good spots for taking pictures. Spa just rules that's for sure :) still lots of walking but worth it.

Anyone been to Monza? I'm going for the first time: flying to Bergamo airport and staying in the town as well.

My first F1 trip is starting today. Tomorrow I'll land in Milan Linate airport. And we're staying in town until 10th day.

Fly out to Milan later today. Hoping the forecast is wrong, don't think the grandstand we've booked is covered if there's a storm!

Thanks.
FP3 was the only session we missed.
We saw FP1 at Ascari, FP2 at Prima Variante, Qualy & Race at Lesmo 2.

I'd like to go to Spa next year and order my tickets early.

I'm still looking for some info on the campsites. What are the cheapest ones? Is it important to order those tickets earlier? (sold out/cheaper?)

cheapest: move away from the track. You are in the Ardennen, biggest camping area of the country. 60 euro per night at the track, 9 euro on a real camping

That's what I'd like to do, how far would you have to walk from the track?
