I can see it sucking but I am pretty interested in seeing that race next year.

I don't think it has any chance of sucking as these cars race GREAT when put out of their comfort zone, and this track takes them out of their comfort zone more than any other track they've raced on in recent past. Any chance of downforce ruining the racing has been removed also with the addition of that last chicane.

I saw this on Twitter from a reporter that is Tweeting out updates from a wildfire that is in California's Napa Valley. :(

Update: The track President and GM have released a statement.

The reporter was going by reports from people who were driving by the track. The track itself isn't on fire but it doesn't sound like they're out of the woods, unfortunately.

The reporter posted another update saying that there are spot fires on the property but they aren't threatening any buildings.

If it does burn up, maybe they can build a good track in its place.

I was going to say, one of the plusses of Sonoma burning down would be that Indycar would have to hold the season finale on a track that might engender good racing.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Hi. I have a monumentally silly idea that will gain no traction and go nowhere

Rebuild Riverside

I'll see the splitters abandoned and offset bodies gone before that.

A bored day at work can turn up some some sad and disturbing NASCAR stories:

A monkey eats a NASCAR driver's testicles

Warning: graphic images ahead (no testicles though)

That's nice for him. He came in at the same time as these new kids on the block like Blaney, Chase, Eric, etc. but was looking like his career was already over for a while there after the Roush NXS deal shut down. He can wheel it for sure.
