Brian France babbling recently, most sickening thing was he pretty much defended cheating. Saying NASCAR has no intentions of taking wins away, and that they believe current slap in the wrist fines are the best action plan. They want us so hard to stop watching.

Am I the only one that thinks that Daytona Rising is just a massive waste of money?

I actually think it looks pretty neat.

I recently flew into Daytona and saw what it looks like. Any time I see the seats painted the way they are I just think they don't have a whole lot of confidence in selling tickets.

I can agree with that. I was more talking that I think it's neat how they have the grandstands now and all the concourses. Let's face it, a lot of tracks/stadiums have really shitty ones. As much as I miss old Yankee Stadium, the facilities were fuckin trash.

I think it looks much more neat and modern, but I think they went overkill on the amount of seats (even after cutting the back straightaway out)

You should have seen Qualcomm's lmao

DISCLAIMER: never been into Qualcomm, but just driving by the stadium a handful of times makes me kinda wish they renovate it, but I guess it might be a lost cause

So Jayski is reporting that a #44 has been spotted around RPM... no name was above the door, but that does have people asking what that means for the 9.

I sincerely doubt that they would hype Chase Elliott's entry into the 24 car as they have so far, only to change the number on the door come Speedweeks. I don't care if he drives the 24 car or not, but (and I've felt this way since he answered a tweet of mine when he was 13 or 14) he told me back then he really wanted the 9 or the 94 whenever he got to Cup. I think he's good enough that he deserves to go by his own beat, and not have to fill Jeff Gordon's incredibly huge shoes*.

*Jeff isn't a big guy, so his shoes are probably like 8 1/2 or 9.

well I guess soon was only a few hours. Stafford also on the East schedule, Miller & Orange Show on the West schedule, Phoenix, Langley, Bowman Gray and the 2nd Iowa race cut from the schedule.

No Phoenix races and no Langley sucks, but Watkins Glen should be cool.

Cool to see Stafford back. I'll have to take a trip over for that.

owners got fed up of replacing a full body after racing there, although they didn't tear up much of anything last year. They had like a 60 lap green flag run and only 3 or 4 cautions compared to the usual 15 cautions every 2 laps.

It won't hurt the track IMO, probably will get the same amount if not more with just the weekly divisions, not counting the weekend the race is normally on is apart of Charlotte Speedweeks this year with how Memorial Day hits.
