In what is now a yearly tradition, the new Red Bull is being shaken down at Silverstone and grainy footage is being posted on the internet;

Well it was bound to happen. There are 18 Red Bull clones going around this year. I hope Newey has done something radical so that we can at least have some car variety. Hardly surprising though, when you effectively have a rule set that is pushing a pseudo one make series.

If I was the F1 Ceo, the cars should be presented before qual session, with the same body parts that they're going to race on that weekend. So all those pictures of the car would actually mean something.

And, if that was not possible, there should be an article on F1.TV about all the changes from launch.

Yeah, pretty sad that Ferrari finally caved, but they couldn't keep doing the same thing with the lack of race pace and tire issues.

I'll go on record now: I like Charles, but I hope Carlos somehow gets it done this year and turns the whole 2025 Silly Season into a shit show.

the Ferrari looks good but those stripes worry me, when they start putting too much details like that they're bound to lose, like what happened in 1993 or 2016

Does anyone else except me get slight Winfield Williams F1 vibes from the use of red/yellow/white on the Ferrari?

The 1998-99 Williams livery aged really well. The problem is that the one they replaced is one of the best of all time

Honestly, if not for tragedy, I'd put it first on the list of best Senna liveries.
1. JPS
2. Rothmans (RIP)
3. Camel
4. Marlboro
5. Tolman

I know which one he had his best years in, and the Marlboro livery is iconic but his Helmet just matches the Rothmans colors so well. JPS is just the undisputed king of sponsor liveries, and personally I'd put the Camel above the Marlboro, but I don't know, maybe too much yellow, so I could easily flip the two.

I completely agree. I remember both (particularly 1998) being slated in the UK commentary. Martin Brundle said the 1998 livery was like they put all the sponsors in a cannon and fired it at the side of the car, but I think it looks pretty good these days. I always thought the 1999 livery looked great on the car.

The car that made Lewis say, "Yeah, I'm out."

Mercedes might be the only team this year who have *less* black on their car :8:

I think that looks quite good. I've seen people making comparisons to the West McLaren livery and it's easy to see why.

it'll be damn funny if that Merc sweeps the field like they once did (giving Lewis the 8th) and Ferrari keep their usual clownshow

as for the livery, it remembers me those Brabus works on overpriced Mercedes

The McLaren looks rather dull in detail. Maybe they have some awesome underfloor or something.

That Merc looks very slick! Some top notch liveries this season!
