I wonder how many successful drivers made good team principals. Toto and Horner were drivers but didn't excelled or reached F1. Other past champions didn't even bothered taking managerial positions, just Lauda but his tenure at Mercedes had more to be a consultant and his time at Jaguar (and Ferrari) was dreadful aswell

there was also Stewart but he was more like a owner and he shared the part with Paul. Prost also had a promising operation but it fell quickly (also failing good at Renault/Alpine)

Yup although that might just be a temporary step-down during the course of the investigation, which is pretty typical IMO.

While not technically as a driver, Jean Todt has WRC wins and a 2nd place in the championship.

Todt also took some time garnering experience as manager on Peugeot on WRC and endurance, being very successful on both

Is that a translation issue? It's normal to temporarily suspend someone whilst an investigation takes place, but resigning is normally permanent

which might slowly fade sprint interest despite FIA and Liberty claiming is a great success

Meanwhile, Williams and Sauber have revealed their livery.

After a black with orange McLaren and a black with gold HAAS, we now also have a black with dark blue Williams and a black with ugly green Sauber.

The pink Alpine is going to be the only visible car during the first night races.

The Williams and Haas are a bit underwhelming, but I love the Sauber colours.

Buried in that is back up to Four Power Units for 2024 and 2025 instead of the Three they were trying to go down to too, so there's that

I like this change, it feels like it will be easier to follow and watch the races. Diminishing the toll and burnout of so many races.

Agree to wait for the particular case of Horner, for sure.

But about being punished for kissing someone on the cheek (or generally being targeted as an innocent man by false accusations): this is only an irrational fear of internet incels and the new Tate kingdom followers.

In real life, men who are respectful, tactful, and have a deep understanding and respect for other people's boundaries, don't live with that fear. Unless they're already a jackass pushing people's (and womens') buttons, there is no way such rumours ever take traction on them in any serious organisation. Real men don't go about crying and complaining that they may be falsely accused, because they don't lead a life or a behaviour that lends itself to that, and certainly not in the fucking workplace. It's our responsibility as men to not let that doubt seep into our lives, remain confident in our principles of respect, and stop fueling the incel life philosophy by being the same crybaby these guys are.

I'm just not going to discuss this in a Formula 1 news topic.
