Doing it by running around on a live track, is idiotic

Sitting down on a live track, just to make themselves that little bit harder to spot :slaphead:

Police knew about the protestors a few days ago, but I suppose there's not much you can do to police the full length of a race track.

Make your mind up FIA

Yeah, this reminded me of that GP3 flip years ago. Almost went over the barrier as well.

Spare a thought for the poor protesters, who ran out onto the track on lap 1 intending to stop the race, yet by the time the cars got to them the race was already stopped and no-one will probably ever know they were there, unlike that raving lunatic priest running across the course in 03

Those poor, poor people

And in that Twitter video posted the fence collapses awfully easily.

That's a near-800kg car plus all the fuel. I don't think it did too bad!

Indycar oval fences don't just fold away. Wickens would have ended up at that white houses garden behind the track.

The fence did its job, plus that’s not a place a car has ever been before.

Subject: Formula One Lenovo British Grand Prix 2022

They’ll either be Just Stop Oil or Extension Rebellion morons.

So
Zhou dodged a bullet
Those sitting in that stand at T3 dodged a bullet
Those dumbass spectators on track dodged a bullet
And all the drivers racing towards those clowns dodged a bullet

Some other place on the planet is going to pay a price it seems.

With Halo alone, the head scrapes down the road, guaranteed

I guess nobody noticed on the broadcast because they do the same protocols for streakers in football pitches right? Don't show invasions to not give them audience

that's one good thing, race time skipped almost a hour so rain might be a real threat to scramble the field

Shower moving in from the NW seems the best chance. Could hit in about 45 mins - 1hour.
