Hamilton sounds pretty lost as to what happened to him.

I'd be concerned with a concussion and hip/pelvic injuries with a shot like that.

Not a good vibe at all this weekend.

Not sure if playing Stayin' Alive in the PA system is a good idea.

Lewis said that changes on car between FP3 and Q caused the bad performance.
With the rules they can’t fix it unless they’d start from the pit

Didn't they put SAFER barrier around this track in the fall? How the fuck do they let a wall at that angle in that section so close to the track made out of concrete?

Honestly, this. I don't think they'd be here if it wasn't for the Aramco money. It isn't suitable for big single-seaters at all.

Last year had a big feeling of waiting for the big crash, and this year doesn't feel any different.

Ah positive thing: the rebels said they’d do a 3 day cease fire. So no more rockets for now

They have SAFER in other sections, I agree this part with the wall coming back should have it too.

After Alonso's moment yesterday I shuddered thinking what would happen and here we are.

This track works for cars this strong though, and the fact that Schumacher is conscious and talking is proof of it. Circuits need to adapt to the car's improvements, we don't need carparks of run-off anymore IMO, but sure death traps like this section have to be improved a little without turning it into a gymkhana carpark with painted white lines.

Apparently he's considering it.

If they want to race here they should fully go the champcar route and fly in their own, experienced, crew. Medical, marshals etc etc

Might as well. This place is a guaranteed SC, anyway. So if the car is a mess, get it right, start from the pits to keep away from the early carnage, and make good time in the clean air until you eventually get the SC you need.

Still arguing over the speedy dry.

'Listen, lads, I don't know what you've put down here, but my nose is tingling.'

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
