I can only imagine how cars got THAT torn up when they're surrounded by plenty of deep tire barriers up there. Did someone just come to a complete stop and get hit by another car?

It looks awful. Only way we'll know is if spectators caught footage, because there's no way the TV footage will ever see the light of day.

Must be something like that.

Still, what was shown live?

No live broadcast here.

At least the monocoque of Hubert stayed intact.

Hard to tell, watching on my phone, but neither of the 2 cars with the big contact at the end are that first car that spun, right?

I guess it was a T-Bone from Correa.

That's my thought too. I wonder if he did a 360 or something and gathered it up, and all the worst stuff happened in avoidance.

Definitely looks like the worst of it was car-to-car contact between the one that flipped and the one that was split in half. From one of the Twitter clips I saw, you can see the driver who flipped moving around and grabbing his visor after it came to a stop, so maybe he's not in grave danger.

Spectator video on Twitter now... pink car hit the tires and was nearly fully stopped and got t-boned by the other car.

I think it was Alesi who spun first and Hubert crashed avoiding him and got t-boned after.

Rewatching the live video, I think that Hubert crashed because of Alesi's spin.
Correa, about 80 meters and 2 positions behind Hubert, hit Hubert fullspeed on his left side.

We can see Correa's feet for the front of his car, and Hubert's left side seems badly damaged...

The left side can be seen a microsecond, but I'm not sure it's in so good shape...

Ugh, that's horrendous. Alesi didn't have a rear wing when he slid into that shot, so I think the pink car must have hit him before going into the tires.
