Reminder that this is the last plate race we will ever see with old-school stock cars. I would love it if ARCA put on a hell of a show to send them out in style.

Seeing what time the race starts...it'll get dark before they can finish properly. Have the organizers forgotten that Talladega doesn't have lights, or how ARCA plate races tend to play out...?

The race is scheduled perfectly. If they can make it full distance before sundown, good. If they can't, might as well allow darkness to stop them before they cause too much destruction.

What Phil is saying is that he wants them sent out in style... preferably a few of them over the fence, and at the very least a few side-winding snap-rolls. A late start isn't adequate time for optimal, massive carnage

You know it's Dega season when Phil R be creepin'

I want 3 different cars to flip in a race. We've seen 2 before, including this race last year. Been there done that. 3. Let's get 3.

The plate races are the only races where the 'stage' format actually makes a difference. It should stop everyone from running single file in the middle parts of the race.

That being said, I still hate the format, and it annoys me having to hear Jeff Gordon tell me how great it makes the racing every week.

Now we get THREE Blue Balls finishes instead of one!!!!

Getting overly hyped up only to be massively disappointed is pretty much the definition of DEGA FEVER!!!

HEY ITS THAT MEME GUY WHO SAID THAT MEME THING ONE TIME AND IS NOW A BIG MEME XDDDDDDDD

Eh, that mentality is so 2009. Just give me clean, solid racing with a touch of unpredictability.

Wasn't there a rumor a while back that ARCA wanted to remove the RP races from the schedule because of the composite bodies? Or was that something else?

I know there were rumors for awhile, then ARCA released a statement saying they had been going to Daytona and Talladega since the beginning and they wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

Nice try, but stop putting words in my mouth. We all know I prefer the blood of a sacrificial rookie driver in that helmet. HAIL BRIAN FRANCE

Looking over the Xfinity entry list, it's nice to see it lack really big name Cup drivers outside of Logano and Kahne. Though idk if Kahne is really a big name these days.

I hope they can get the ARCA race in. I'm in Nevada and it's going to get up to 110 right about when the race is scheduled.

If it gets rained out, will they be running it tomorrow and will it be televised? I have to work my second job tonight so I would have missed it. If it's tomorrow morning I'll miss it due to running a 5 mile race. Hoping it's tomorrow just before the Xfinity race or after Cup qualifying.
