Bottas' Mercedes deal is only 1 year...

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Pretty innocuous really. Just got a tank slapper on over the kerbs and pitched into the gravel.

Probably so that they can lure Vettel in. Although, at first sight, the Ferrari is looking good this year.

quite possible for Alonso to work a deal even before the season kicks off and go to Mercedes... and then something happens and Mercedes can't work it fast anymore

*Googles*

So, she has sponsors then because she hasn't got that seat on merit.

No-one's driving a Sauber on merit anymore.

checked her website, she doesn't have many sponsors though

maybe Sauber will use her to appear on broadcasts like they did with Carmen Jordá and they'll say "look we got a female driver, sponsor us, please?!!"

In the biggest surprise in F1 history the drivers are saying that early sign's are that following/getting close to a car ahead will be significantly more difficult this year.

The cars are more difficult to drive. Lots of spins and offs, such as this;

There's wind up at that section of the track and through turn 3. That is a likely contributor to the spins.

You should make this your sig so that we can remind you of it next time you complain about processional races ;)

I know we all hate tarmac run-offs, but that gravel really did nothing useful there.

yes it is quite curious. The Red Bull is by far the most basic (least draggy) car out there by now, but if they manage to get the laptimes, all the better for them. I don't think they have all of a sudden abandoned their philosophy of high downforce, but maybe Newey has an ace up his sleeve
