I admire Vettels driving skills, but he always reminds me of a spoiled little child where nobody is brave enough to tell him to shut up for a second. It all started at Red Bull, where he could do no wrong even if he did stupid stuff like Malaysia or Turkey and it just continues at Ferrari. He‘s prone to doing stupid (can’t really be called silly anymore) things and then acting as if it didn’t happen. This kind of behaviour really rubs me the wrong way.

FOM have put the new footage from Stroll's car along with a new angle from Vettel's car up on instagram:

Well, its about time FOM did something like that, only about 5 years too late but that was all down to Bernie.

And well when you have the two new views side by side I reverse my original judgement of 60/40 Stroll's way. I think it was just a racing incident but if fault is to be apportioned then it is 70/30 Vettel's way I reckon. As Scotty said, the only reason why Seb isn't sitting on the side lines is because he is in the hunt for the championship....if that was Pastor he would have been sitting out two races by now.

how the fuck can you preach safety and push tru something like the halo but not ban an idiot when needed?

And to some point I can understand them thinking about the show but where the fuck is the media roasting them for it?
If you want safety first, put safety first. Ban Vettel and tell him its his own fault.

It will cause a shitstorm among his retarded fans but the rest will actually respect the FIA for once.

Well, let's see, Maldonado was banned for life in Monaco, but was conveniently overturned when he got a race seat at Williams.

Safety has been a buzz word in F1 and in politics to get policies through or an excuse. Not punishing Vettel is on the same level as punishing Schumacher in 94 for the smaller things and not the bigger things. It's convenience. Look at how the stewards rule on everything. If it's some title contender, they rule differently then when two mid fielders do exactly the same thing.

Maldonado was never banned for life. That was clarified long before he got into F1.

Had to search a bit to find it. A lot still have the reference to a lifetime ban in it. What is the whole story? Was there ever a life time ban?

funny that FOM released the footage slowly through the week

they're trying very bad to reduce criticism to Vettel

IIRC he was banned from participating in Monaco for 5 years, then a sizable donation was paid to the Monaco Drivers Club that smoothed things over.

Though I have never seen footage of the incident.
