I thought it would still be warm enough to dry a little more quickly. Maybe too humid.

That race promised so much, but was a bit meh once it dried out. Would have helped if more rain came, or if Vettel hadn't been Vettel.

The cars just spread out far too much with the current regulations.

Well no-one could've predicted rain actually falling during a grand prix.

Still, it's a long way from done yet, all we need is another Malaysia 2016 and Ferrari are right back in it

Maybe F1 should consider some kind of spotters. At least during the start. If they warned vettel he wouldn't move over so far

I remember one race start where the driver had a spotter. Might have been Sato.

Yeah, it was Sato. Weren't commentators complaining about it though? "He shouldn't need it. He should be able to position his car on his own." etc etc IIRC

Btw that was a jump start.

Do what? Have a good start then get taken out by his teammate's idiocy?

Yup. I'm beyond pissed. Our best shot at a title in years, on the 70th year of Ferrari. Schumacher he ain't.

First time in F1 history that both Ferraris are out on lap one. New record set by Vettel. :whistling:

Well technically both Ferrari's were out on the first lap Monaco '95 but the race was restarted.

Why would he ever do that? To underline his position in the team as a number two driver? Remember that Kimi is one of those rare drivers who respect other drivers enough to give them always just enough room without putting them both on a collision course. He simply doesn't crash another driver out, why would he do it for a team mate who does that constantly?

Man what a day here at the track! That first lap was iRacing Week 13 material

Good to see Palmer and Stroll both having good runs, given their crashing tendencies.

Ferrari :lol

I didn't meant that it must be like, it was just an alternate scenario haha you know that's not gonna happen, unfortunatelly

Unbelievable. Just two weeks ago everyone got penalties for anything. Or maybe losing both titles is a big punishment enough.
