Imola has been terrible for F1 ever since they've introduced the chicanes.

Hell, is Enna Pergusa still operating? That would bring some fun ;)

If that will be a penalty for Max, it's ridiculous. Magnussen drives into the back of Max.... If Massa's push into Max is no penalty, this cannot be a penalty. Shouldn't even be an investigation.

As far as I remember, all of the 'interesting' races at Imola were based on one driver being unable to pass another.

Just remove the Tamburello and Villeneuve chicanes.
These days with tarmac run offs and tech-pro barriers (or even a simple tyre wall) there shouldnt be any problem.

I think Villeneuve would need to be reprofiled due to the angle of the wall, but you have a good point about Tamburello.

They did remove the final chicane, so there's a huge long straight from the final corner under the bridge to Tamberello Chicane

Helps with overtaking but I've not seen anything higher powered than Formula 3 since it was changed.

the podium of monza always makes me happy, they should wait more time between the end of the race and the podium to give the chance to more people to gather there.

Crowd booing Lewis.

Lewis:
"Mercedes power is definitely better than Ferrari power"

Not going to help him win any fans in the crowd

in italy they boo anything that is not ferrari, don't make it racist or political. they booed schumy in 95 and worshipped him in 96. that's how it goes here.

if you don't enjoy watching a crow this size you just deserve empty circuits like in bahrain

Pretty much didn't matter what he said, they'd already been booing him for 5 minutes and who knows how many of them are English speakers anyway

Good on Lewis for standing up to their shit
