He pushed the barrier back a lot

But that's good, it means the car and barrier took the energy and not Kahne himself.

3 pages for Sonoma is a new low, right? I guess everyone was fatigued after that epic MotoGP race, the slapstick F1, and the okay Indycar.

I did actually watch... until I fell asleep with 50 to go. I laughed at how the commentators made it sounds like the "stages" have been there forever and that they are normal. This shit isn't normal, it's just shit.

I tried to watch a bit of the Sonoma race but I just couldn't get interested in it. I just couldn't care less about NASCAR these days, and the stage racing really did a lot to push me out. It's a shame, but I guess life goes on.

I realized that I might actually be okay with the idea of stage points if it didn't involve throwing a caution. Just score it at the line, inform the teams of the official running order at that moment, and keep it green.

Granted, there are countless problems to be solved, but that was just a thought I had.

Yeaa, it is utterly ridiculous how many laps they waste with a caution for each stage. But we know how much they hate cars getting strung out.

I'd make a joke about Windows crashing but damn, I'm just glad he's ok from that.

Glad it wasn't the drivers side.

Just finished watching the race, saw a bit each day over the last 3 days. Very good race for Sonoma, they are really tyre dependant now, very old school in that sense. Looking forward to next year.
