Talk of TV resolution is a bit useless if you don't talk size. 480p on a 5" smartphone is super, while on a tablet is rather meh. UHD is almost a must have if you have, or want to have, a big ass screen. The first large HD TV's were rather crappy imo due to the scaling.

The hospitality areas above the pits are used for functions and events. I think the golf course leases it out.

The pit garages themselves aren't used for anything, as far as I'm aware.

I can't remember if I had to jump a fence to do this (I did it many years ago) but you might be able to walk up the stairs to the podium during the year.

This. (or something similar).

When somebody says they're not a fan of DRS, it doesn't mean they want to see the cars running single file, one second apart from each other, with no overtaking. Why does it have to be one or the other? There could be a perfect middle ground. I much prefer DRS to the processions of the early 2000s, but I'd also be happier without DRS, IF the cars were capable of following each other more closely.

The thing about DRS is the effect of it got a lot worse when KERS stopped being a driver-operated button.
I was watching Korea 2013 the other day, and despite a stronger package, Hamilton and Alonso could do nothing about the Force India in front of them after the safety car despite DRS and the mile long backstraight because Sutil saved the majority of his kers for that one area.
This led to a protracted battle for the final third of the race and still led to the Force India remaining ahead for a better than expected result.
KERS was the perfect DRS defence and it's a shame it couldn't be kept in that format when the engine formula changed in 2014

If anyone knows some premium streams (other than the Fox Sports one), please pm me.

15 minutes away now, glad F1 is back. Will be missing the race on Sunday though, so will probably be epic.
