This image illustrates precisely why I have fallen out of love with McLaren. That is just so soul crushingly cold and distant, lacking any character at all. And that has been my general feeling for at least the last few years with McLaren. I just have no empathy for them any more.

I get what you mean but hasn't it always been that way? McLaren's Technology Centre is a good example.

According to reddit Zak Brown asked everyone who isn't a McLaren fan to leave and someone did actually get up and leave.

Not sure if its true or if its a poor attempt of a joke or just misplaced arrogance.

"It's not the right business environment for an all orange car and potential sponsors such as Orange S.A. would not approve."

I... don't dislike it?

Fiver says they change the shade of orange once they see all of the pictures today where it looks red.

The shapes look great. Bar the nose, I like it even more than the Mercedes. The problem is this hideous pumpkin livery :yuk:

It trulu amazes me how that got approved

Perfect cheese shredder. Remember to wear cut protection gloves when touching it.

Is it mandatory to have at least two colors out of black, grey or white on any F1 livery? What happened to Green, Pink, Cyan, Purple? Any shade of green seems to be banned. And wasn't the BP logos supposed to be on the car?

When did this...

...become hotter than this?

Seriously, when the grass or the run-off area has more eye catching character than your car, then you're doing it wrong.

There are more sponsors on that wall than on the car

And there's more character behind the car than on it.

Seriously what were they thinking with this livery. It would be much better without the white.

But it would be even better if the white replaced all the black/grey.

Any usage of white is very small but a lot of teams use it. It's been a while since we've seem a predominantly white car.

Green on a car is considered bad luck, we had an old green car and my nan refused to get in it, could be some cultural thing like that with the owners, like how Microsoft skipped Windows 9 because 9 is unlucky in their main markets.
