i'm watching the pinty's series races from this season (i skipped last year). i'm only 3 rounds in but honestly this is straight 10/10. the cars looks awesome, the tracks are cool, plenty of good racing and crashes. real shit

They've got the best schedule.

Road courses, street courses, and no oval longer than 5/8mi.

Not to nickpick, but I'm getting kinda sick of NASCAR referring to pre-2004 Cup racing as the "Premier Series".

It sounds so stupid when you can just as easily call it the "NASCAR Cup Series".

Good to hear. Taking over the 20 from Jones I'd assume. I'm sure the 18 will be Cup guys still.

Maybe this new rule is working... another driver running full time in the Xfinity Series...

Quote:
Michael Annett to run full XFINITY season for JR Motorsports: JR Motorsports will expand its NASCAR Xfinity Series program to four full-time teams in 2017, as the Dale Earnhardt Jr.-owned company has signed a multi-year agreement with driver Michael Annett and Pilot Flying J, the largest operator of travel centers and travel plazas in North America. Annett will compete full-time for an NXS championship with JRM's #5 Pilot Flying J entry next year. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Annett will join a 2017 JRM roster that already includes full-season drivers Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier, and rookie William Byron. JR Motorsports will run a fifth car, the #88 entry, in select races with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne. Additional details surrounding crew duties on the No. 5 Pilot Flying J team will be announced at a later date.

I think Xfinity would be great next year if they took a little downforce off the cars or gave them a few more Horsepower back.

wut why?

Theory: Kroger is coming to NASCAR as the title sponsor, leaving him without his main Sponsorship partner "Albertsons". And since he clearly can't get along on his talent alone, he's just gonna retire and take a cushy job at the family's resort.

That kind of surprises me to see that Brian Scott is hanging up the helmet after this season.
