No penalty for Rosberg?! This is unbelievable! It's clear he doesn't deserve this championship now.

Did you go for a piss and miss the SC?

FIA probably have access to data to prove he was backing off even before the SC too, but the SC came out and that ended that

Even so, you usually get a bye from the FIA in these sort of things, remember Canada 2014 when Rosberg cut the course when Lewis was alongside him, gained a whole second (set fastest lap too :p ) and the FIA did nothing?

But no, it's the devil lewis so he must be punished...

This could have been a monumental accident, he was fucking sideways almost, must have been an amazing save.

lol, our commentators mentioned Rosberg gained an advantage (true) but still absolutely no mention of the fact that Hamilton gained like a full second. This is fucking stupid, lol.

he wasnt contesting a position with another driver. there is a difference

He gained a bunch of time and clearance from the rest of the field. By your logic, drivers could just cut corners willy-nilly as long as they aren't alongside another competitor.

I'd thought it was Button when I saw that and I was waiting for him to spin across the field

Vettel thinks other drivers should not fight. It's better to let them pass.

All this proves is that the FIA has a precedent for being stupid about the issue.

Yeaa, gaining an advantage is gaining an advantage.

Rosberg could have taken the corner but that would have probably caused issues. He was forced off by the contact with Max, Hamilton was saving his tyres.

"Was Alonso even alongside him?" wonders David Croft, watching a replay of Alonso's front end alongside Sainz.

Sky on good form today...
