For the record, I was pulling for Tony there (my denny hate is strong). I'm just shocked that Denny makes that mistake. He just said he didn't hop. So he just drove wide. Barely locked the RF. Denny's mind is weaker than I thought.

It's all about the context on this one. He bullied the most aggressive driver out of the way just a few corners earlier. There isn't a driver in the field calm enough (or dumb enough) to think he doesn't have to keep an eye locked on the mirror into the last corner in that scenario.

Good winner, but extremely conveniently timed caution.

The last corner was weird. I almost thought Denny was handing the place back because he hadn't passed Tony cleanly. Something didn't seem right.

That was a fun finish to watch. I'm not normally a Stewart fan but I was pulling for him this time with it being his final season. Tony Stewart is still as determined as ever, that is for sure.

Fuck yeah, Tony!

Great to see him have one more win before he finishes up.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I'm going to be honest, 4 months ago I would have pulled for Tony, but there's no way I'm pulling for that mark-ass Benedict Arnold.

There. I said it. It's all sour grapes. I'm juvenile and petty and I don't care.

Takes 13th on the all time wins list with 49. Can he move up to a tie for 11th with 50?

Actually, today marked Tony's 49th win, I believe.

That was an odd finish.

You're right, I didn't check the "last updated" date was only 6-12-16. :slaphead:

Remember when SHR announced that they're switching to Ford for next season?

I think he's referring to that.

Isn't this the guy who had to get counselling after he lost the championship a few years back>

Nice to see we're still treating someone seeking therapy as a sign of weakness.

When it comes to celebrities and sports professionals, damn right

I say this as someone who has gotten counselling myself, and also a human who is happy to admit he is a hypocrite.

Looks like one of those cheesy "Our First Dance" wedding picture placards

They do make an adorable little couple though. Jon looks so happy!
