I really can't believe some people (not necessarily here on the board).

People talking of how safety has ruined an infinite amount of tracks on the calendar. Places with run-off the size of Heathrow airport. People talking of the "pussyfication of the sport"

Now we are actually presented with a track with very little run-off, or run-off that truly punishes the drivers, and those same people are saying the track is unsafe.

Because it's of the lack of consistency in anything that the FIA does. Didn't they frown upon Mclarens deal with Johnny Walker?
They only want to go to safe tracks, which they used as an argument for a few old school tracks to get raped, and now they have this?

The consistent inconsistencies are just stupid. They should just say that they're there for the money. We live in a generation where accountability and responsibility is alien and something bad. And thus lying and pr has become the norm.

Drain cover up at the exit of the pits, orange cone gets its moment in the spotlight as a result.
