@siggy, the screen grab is after the contact. Nico abandoned the corner extremely early.

He didn't abandon the corner, he was pushed off. You can clearly see in your grab that Vettel had a much tighter line and cornering angle around the corner. Rules clearly say when you have a driver at your side, you must give him some room, Hamilton did not.

Yes and no. Vettel's line is irrelevant as he wasn't defending or racing anyone. So he can take a normal line. Hamilton was on near full lock and it was Nico who had a large amount of space to his outside.

We know Lewis is ruthless but this isn't like USA 2015.

To each his opinion which I respect, but you won't make me believe that Hamilton had absolutely no means to avoid contact (like reducing his speed?) when all other 20 cars behind him managed to go through the corner 2 wide without any incidents. He had full control of his car throughout the corner.

Rosberg can't pass either with Bottas having DRS, too lol

Completely agree with you Talladega. And I believe the same about Hamilton, but also Rosberg. There were two drivers in that situation, not one like most of you are fixating upon.

Also apparently if rosberg gets alongside, Lewis is obligated to leap out of the way
(But in spain Nico was justified in crashing Lewis off the road because he was ahead #consistency )

Lap 40 out of 70, and only one corner has been of slight interest all race
