I think it's Monaco 2004 you're referring to, when he locked up in front of Montoya in the tunnel under SC?

I agree with all what has been posted in this page regarding the Jerez incident with Villeneuve (also, Brundle's reaction live is an all-time classic)

Which brings up this thought: that we have come long way since the early days where you could not have a nuanced, argumented, fanboyism-free discussion about a past accident. It feels good.

He's talking about Schumi's qualifying parking job at Monaco in 2006. But Monaco 2004 when he got a good dose of karma is equally a good example.

at Monaco 2006 he could've done much better by ligthly hitting the barrier instead of just parking

he gets light damage, claim it was a mechanical failure and starts on pole even though everyone knows he did on purpose

Haha, how did I forget that. One of those rare moments in F1 where I literally LOL'd in front of the TV, along with Diniz' improvised gardening at Montreal 1998, and Hamilton digging his car at pit entrance at China 2007.

The prize money saga isn't new. This reads like a sensationalist click-bait story. I expect more from BBC Sport.

This appears to be a far better story positioning the takeover by Renault...

On the F1 show David Croft was saying that Andy Cowell had told him that the Mercedes internal combustion engine is now producing the same power output as the V8's were & that when you include the power there getting from the hybrid systems the power units are now producing more power than there V10's were.

Well, the Mercedes might be. The Renault and Honda are still struggling to outdrag Trabants.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

but you can't set power to 100% to save the engine and fuel, so is kinda useless

World class driver Adderly Fong who had an amazing finish of 7th in a GP3 race 3 seasons ago will get to test drive the Sauber, I've heard through word of mouth that Sauber had offered this to a number of drivers but were wanting 250,000 euros for a single day of testing, I'm guessing Adderly was the only one who has that sort of cash lying around...

Still more worthy of an F1 seat than Chilton or Palmer

thats why i think that 10 kg extra fuel would be a great solution
stronger then a v10 that puts the mercedes engine around 1000hp

Ron Dennis is open to Fernando Alonso taking a sabbatical in 2016 should McLaren-Honda appear uncompetitive in Formula 1 pre-season testing next year

Sabbatical at the end of the career usually means just the end of the career.

Go Stoffel.

Alonso just said he knows as much as we do.

Looks like he is going to decide after the first days of testing
