It was a good race up to that point. Honestly why did WTCC race at that time anyway, it was bound to happen.

They'd be fine to race at that time if they put actual fucking headlights on the cars from the production models instead of those shitty LED arrays that don't really do anything.

should've raced at normal time (3-4am in europe) instead of racing in the darkness, even though i think the lights on the cars are ok for those conditions.

race 2 was pretty good until the red flag.

Curious decision about Leob but not surprised they are leaving as it's been known for a while they were going. Could be a really tricky couple of years for the WTCC as Lada have been getting cold feet and lots of the independent teams are feeling the pinch and debating about future participation.

And they show a replay of Tarquini's spin in race 1 rather then the crash in race 2 :slaphead:

Congrats wtcc you're now officially worse than dtm

Heh yeah tbf they probably swapped over the second dtm started running Saturday races, seemed to somehow improve their Sunday racing too somehow.

Dull races on an utterly bland circuit. The most exciting thing about the event was the fact that Eurosport have a new logo.

Excellent year of WTCC: Citroen won all but 3 reverse grid races and pretty much 1-2-3 in all of them

And it might get worse next year with either teams not trying as hard in qualifying to ensure 10th and pole or going for pole and being too scared to overtake and damage their car for the immediately following race 2.

Nice to see someone speaking up about all of the ridiculous first lap crashes in this series.
